Do we need permission to feel grateful? Find the language that works for you but make the effort to tune into what’s good in your world.
Not enough of us seem to know this or do it. Like we are entitled to a perfect life - like you see on social media, right? Sometimes it all looks bad. Sometimes it's like you have to hunt for the good stuff. We are good at noticing negative emotions. We stick to them like Velcro. But good emotions... we just pass on and often miss how many are there each day to find gratitude.
Resilient people are good at choosing carefully where to select their attention. We appraise the situation and focus on the things we can change and recognize the things we can’t. We aren't a victim to life, we are empowered to be present and take responsibility for our actions. We tend to have good reasons for the actions we take and hold ourselves accountable for our actions.
Resilient people are in tune with the good and acknowledge the bad. So today, I invite you to be resilient, tune into the good in your life and send that energy out into the universe. If we all do it, the tune of our resilient frequency elevates.
