Be Present

Fear is often brought on by things that happened in the past. Tie and emotion to a past memory, if something similar happens now we may react not because of the present situation but because we remember the outcome of the past and relate it to the present state. But that keeps us from being the boss inside our body and taking charge of our current emotions and situations.

Become more honest about your own weakness and thoughts in your own mind. Be in the present moment. Where does the mind go? How are we towards our emotions and thoughts? Are we attacking them or other people unconsciously? What would it mean to have unconditional love to our thoughts and just let them be?

Don't fall in the trap of either trying to get rid of your thoughts or feeling you need to change your thoughts. We all know if we push feelings away they tend to grow and fester. That which we resist persists. Just feel them and try to recognize if you're reacting from history or staying in the present moment, being empathetic to what's going on and allowing yourself to trust and accept what's happening.
